Rivers state residents has today gathered around the government house Port Harcourt to welcome it governor, siminalayi fubara back to his office.
This comes after president Bola Tinubu on Wednesday suspended the emergency rule in the state, reinstated the Governor, his deputy Prof Ngozi Odu and the state House of Assembly.
Recall that the governor, his deputy and the state lawmakers were suspended on March 18, 2025 at the height of the political tussle between the governor and his then estranged predecessor, Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister.
